U sklopu priprema za početak nastave svi djelatnici OŠ don Mihovila Pavlinovića u Podgori su u ponedjeljak i utorak 27. i 28. kolovoza 2012.g. zasukali rukave i prionuli bojanju učionica, hodnika i stubišta u Matičnoj školi u Podgori.

Također su obojili vrata i dovratnike na svim učionicama gdje  je to trebalo. Usprkos velikim vrućinama, svi su predano i vrijedno odradili svoj dio posla, tako da će naši učenici započeti ovu školsku godinu u svježe obojanim i čistim učionicama.

Ovom radnom akcijom učitelji i svi ostali djelatnici su dali svoj doprinos u donatorskoj akciji koja se provodila tijekom cijele prošle školske godine. U toj akciji su, od poslovnih partnera, trvtki s područja Općine Podgora i šire, te od roditelja i ostalih dobronamjernih pojedinaca, prikupljena sredstva kojima je obnovljen i saniran pod dvorane, te je svaka učionica u Matičnoj školi i Područnim školama opremljena stropnim projektorom, projekcijskim platnom i računalom s pristupom Internetu.

Na ovaj način je postignut visok standard opremljenosti učionica, a koji se upotpunjava stručnošću i osposobljenošću naših djelatnika, učiteljica i učitelja. 

Within the preparations for the  beginning of the new school year, employees of don Mihovil Pavlinović primary school rolled up their sleeves on Monday and Tuesday 27th and 28th August 2012 and set about vigorously   to painting of the classrooms, corridors and staircases in the school in Podgora.

They also painted the doors and the door-posts where necessary. Despite the great summer heat, everybody was working off his job diligently and with dedication, so that our pupils will start t his school year in freshly painted and clean classrooms, in this working effort all teachers, together with other employees, gave their contribution to the donor action which was carrying out throughout the last school year. In that action, on the part of the business partners and associates – companies from the area that is the Podgora district, and beyond, and also by the parents and other well – intentioned individuals, the funds were raised by  means of which the floor of the school gym was restored and renovated, and every classroom in the main school and in the district schools, as well, was provided with  a ceiling slide – projector, a projection screen and a computer with an access to the Internet.

 In this way we have achieved a high level of  technical equipment of classrooms and that is being completed with the competence and training of our employees and teachers.
